CONCENTRATE-MODIFIER FOR POLYURETHANE

In 2016, as part of an open research project with a branch of PJSC RUSAL (RUSAL), our company developed a concentrate-modifier of a polyurethane mixture based on fullerene soot. This composition can be used as a modifier or a pigment that allows you to paint a product made of polyurethane in black. The composition turned out to be simple and convenient to use. Working with the product did not require a highly qualified specialist.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The composition is intended for the manufacture of materials and products made of polyurethane with improved wear and chemical resistance properties; it is designed for the production of products used as standard products (plates, rods), the manufacture of small and large - scale industrial products (couplings, flanges, stoppers, gaskets), protective coatings (linings) of working surfaces of standard and non-standard equipment of mining industry or granaries, as well as products for special-purpose road equipment, which have high requirements for physical and mechanical characteristics.
The category of the resulting material - difficult to Burn.

COLOR:
- black
- dark blue

How to USE the concentrate modifier:
The concentrate modifier is entered:
- when using a three-component filling machine directly into the pigment container, according to the volume of dosage and the required operating conditions of the product
- when using a two-component filling machine directly in the prepolymer (component A), according to the volume of dosage and the required operating conditions of the product
- during operation of the laboratory reactor, it is introduced exclusively into component A (forpolymer) of the pigment according to the volume of dosage and the required operating conditions of the product.

FINAL RESULT:
The wear resistance of a polyurethane material using a concentrate based on fullerene soot has become more than 3 times higher, and the cost of production of a polyurethane material using a concentrate modifier has increased within 5-7% of the initial one.
